Acquisition and storing measurements

DATA ACQUISITION UNIT
Alphée 2012

  • A completely configureable data acquisition unit
  • 12 possible inputs :
    • 4 digital pulse inputs for counting and/or position encoding.
    • 4 unbalanced (unipolar) analogue inputs 0-10 V or 4-20 mA with 14 bits resolution.
Only one of the analogue inputs can accept a PT 100.

    4 remote monitoring inputs :

    • 4 On/Off inputs for monitoring contact status.
  • 4 outputs available :
2 On/Off relay outputs for alarms or commands.
2 RS 232 serial digital interfaces for the in-house service console or for a modem.
Functions

  • The 4 transducers for the analogue inputs can be powered from the unit with choice of supply time per channel.
  • Acquisition time period and storing time period for different and independent measurements can be varied between 5 s and 24 h.
  • Calculation of moving hourly average and of cumulative and partial totals for each measurement.
  • Monitoring of data in relation to thresholds.
  • Control of sampling unit.
  • Control of internal operational status (auto diagnostic).
  • RAM Data Storage size 128 Kbytes to 640 Kbytes.
  • Dynamic memory allocation by block and by measurement data.
  • Operation of alarms possible via a control relay ;
alarm signal from PC alarm receiver and/or a pager.
  • Capability of 4 virtual measurements, hence 12 values from 8 data inputs.
    Pressure

    Level (real measurement)

    Flow rate (virtual)
  • EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) performance : Level 3
  • Low consumption
  • The unit is housed in a metal box for mounting on a DIN rail or in a plastic enclosure for wall mounting.
